So, Ike was bad. Really bad. I just got electricity back LAST NIGHT. No one thought it would be this bad. I think because all we saw was a regular, normal, category two huricane. No biggie, right? Wrong. Ike was weak in strenghth, but it was bloody HUGE. Its size made it bad, not its strenghth.

I was lucky, some people may not get electricity for weeks. Some people's houses were destroyed by falling trees.

On the plus side, school's been canceled for the whole rest of the week.

Still haven't heard from some of my friends down here, hope they're ok.
